You will have mastered the material in this workshop when you can:
- Create queries using the Simple Query Wizard
- Print query results
- Create queries using Design view
- Include fields in the design grid
- Use text and numeric data in criteria
- Create and use parameter queries
- Save a query and use the saved query
- Use compound criteria in queries
- Join tables in queries
- Create a report from a query
- Perform calculations in queries
- Calculate statistics in queries
- Create crosstab queries
- Customize the Navigation pane
To achieve these objectives, we will use the Access database created during the course of the basic workshop.
In order to complete this workshop successfully, you need to have knowledge of the fundamental computing process, components of the computing system, and basic computer terminology, plus minimum keyboarding skills. In addition, you need to be able to perform the tasks from the Basic Workshop.
