Microsoft Excel Intermediate Workshop
You will have mastered the material in this workshop when you can:
- Enter formulas using the keyboard and Point mode
- Apply the AVERAGE, MAX, and MIN functions
- Verify a formula using Range Finder
- Apply a theme to a workbook
- Add conditional formatting to cells
- Change column width and row height
- Check the spelling of a worksheet
- Set margins, headers and footers in Page Layout View
- Preview and print versions of a worksheet
- Use a Web Query to get real-time data from a Web site
- Rename sheets in a workbook
- Email the active workbook from within Excel
To achieve these objectives, we will create at least one Worksheet with Formulas, Functions, and Web Queries during the course of this workshop.
In order to complete this workshop successfully, you need to have knowledge of the fundamental computing process, components of the computing system, and basic computer terminology, plus minimum keyboarding skills. In addition, you need to be able to perform the tasks from the Basic Workshop.
